At Pulse, we love building applications in our free time. Some may be small apps; some are just to test a new technology or framework that has come out. We enjoy this! However, one thing we don't enjoy is becoming accidental system administrators! For example, we may want to deploy an application but find ourselves spending more time than we want to on managing servers. Here at Pulse, we want to find a solution to this and one thing we have discovered is AWS Elastic Beanstalk.

Elastic Beanstalk is a platform as a service. It allows you to upload your code or project, and it takes care of the server administration. What do we mean by this? Well, quite simply, it handles the queue system. It takes care of the scaling and other services we might need for an application, thus allowing more time to build applications faster and enable new features by using the Elastic Beanstalk console.

Another great feature of Elastic Beanstalk is that its free to use; you only pay for the underlying resources that you would use normally. AWS Elastic Beanstalk also supports many programming languages such as Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, and Docker which enables a large community of developers to use this service to build applications and services faster.

Overall, we think it's another really good service from AWS and would recommend this to any developer who wants to speed up their application deployment.
